There are many aspects of woven sashiko (sashiko-ori) that we want to share with you! The patterns, certainly, are beautiful, and even more so when you have designed and woven the fabric yourself.

Expect to see ways we have discovered to enhance the basic styles of sashiko-ori through weaving drafts and insights about the weaving process, as well as color choice, variety of fibers and yarns, and even exploration of similar structures from places other than Japan. The potential for this simple weaving is great.
